Singapore: Art From The Streets Exhibition at the ArtScience Museum

On display in Singapore from January 13 to June 3rd 2018 at the ArtScience Museum in Singapore is ​the 'Art From The Streets' exhibition.
Wonderfully curated by Magda Danysz the exhibition features many artworks by pioneers and prolific artists within the street art community. This includes a large collection of works by Shepard Fairey (Obey), a piece by Banksy, plus many works by various artists created exclusively for the exhibition.

Located on level 3, the 'Art From The Streets' exhibition is organised into 6 sections: The Pioneers and the Masters, The Advent of the Message, Stencil World, New Writings, Art of the Context and Getting Up. 

As a lover of street art, I travelled all the way to Singapore just to see this exhibition and it did not disappoint. I was in awe walking through the building and being in the presence of such incredible pieces. My favourite collection (apart from the Shepard Fairey artworks, and the pieces by Blek le Rat and Banksy) was The Art of Context. This article features many pieces of art from the collection.
