Your bucket list should be varied, not just with beach vacations and wonderful cities, but with experiences and wildlife is one of those things you can all really enjoy and feel mesmerised by...
When it comes to bucket lists, I guarantee that the likes of touring Australia, sharing city breaks in Europe and driving down Route 66 in the USA will be on many lists, perhaps all or just one of them. But it can be quite generalised when it comes to the places you want to see and the experiences you want to have. However, I think your bucket list should be varied, not just with beach vacations and wonderful cities, but with experiences and wildlife is one of those things you can all really enjoy and feel mesmerised by. So I thought I would share with you some of the wildlife excursions worthy of your bucket list.
Whales can be some of the biggest animals in our oceans, and so catching them swimming in certain parts of the worlds is a real possibility. From heading to the likes of Iceland to see Orcas or heading more locally and whale watching from Brisbane could be one of those things you would like to see at some point in your life. Whales are fascinating creatures, and also creatures of habit, so you may find that certain parts of the world can have regular sightings at certain times of the year due to feeding rituals and even mating seasons.
Swimming with dolphins
This one may already be on your bucket list, and while it is quite common for people to want to swim with dolphins, I definitely thought it was still worthy of a mention when it comes to bucket list ideas to do with wildlife. There are so many ways you can do this. Organised in a water park or even with instructors out in the ocean under careful supervision, but it is one of the best experiences and I can imagine one that not a lot of people would forget in a hurry.
A shark experience
Sharks. I guess they aren’t normally something that you would associate with swimming with them, but actually these days you can and it is certainly one to think about. Swimming with sharks I imagine would be a real adrenaline rush, and you aren’t exactly swimming with them, but in South Africa, you can be lowered into the ocean in a cage and actually watch the sharks in action.
An African safari
When it comes to wildlife I don’t think you can get any wilder than an actual African safari. This is one of the ultimate bucket list worthy experiences. The chance to see many different animals in their natural habitats, roaming the African plains and generally just living their lives. It can feel like a real privilege and is far better than any experience you will get visiting these animals in some sort of zoo. Definitely one to consider.
I guess there any many ways you can combine these wildlife excursions with other places on your bucket list, which could totally add to the whole experience, enabling you to make memories that lasts lifetime.
