Wandering around the futuristic City of Arts and Sciences and the incredible architecture was the perfect way to spend our last morning in Valencia.
Wandering around the City of Arts and Sciences (Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias) was a lovely way to spend our last morning in Valencia. We were completely in awe of the incredible design and sheer size of 9 buildings in this entertainment precinct. The area houses the following buildings:
With construction starting in 1994, I was amazed at how incredibly modern and futuristic the buildings look. We walked around for over an hour taking photos of every inch of this beautiful place, there are so many different camera angles you can fill a memory card up with ease and still feel like you have captured enough to do the place justice.
The city of arts and sciences is definitely a must see if ever in Valencia, even if you decide not to go inside of the buildings, the place itself is worthwhile to spend an hour walking through.
