Such gorgeous landscape. My eyes were focused solely on the scenery flying over this incredible country. I have been waiting a long time to visit Laos, and the excitement was building as I observed the beauty below me.
The luscious, dense, jungle beneath creates a serene landscape, camouflaging a horrible history at the hands of the US Army; which I will explore in more detail in a future post. What was once known as, Lane Xang, or the “Land of a Million Elephants”, flying into Laos is a sight for sore eyes.
