"I know you can be overwhelmed, and you can be underwhelmed,
but can you ever just be whelmed?"
Life was peachy and then bam - like a truck, I was hit with unwelcome surprises. As a result, I was submerged for a while, up to my neck in a sea of stress, post it notes and textbooks. Sitting at my desk attempting to organise my life, I was often reminded of the character Chastity's quote from the movie 10 things I hate about you "I know you can be overwhelmed, and you can be underwhelmed, but can you ever just be whelmed?" - whelmed explains it perfectly! I found that due to stress, my ability to retain new information had disappeared. What intended on only being a month-long break over Christmas and the New Year, turned into an unplanned, 3 month, behind the scenes hiatus.
There was a lot to adapt to, mainly trying to figure out how to facilitate maintaining my blog whilst studying full-time at university, working and travelling. Now that I have a proper system in place and I have university on track, I can get back to answering your emails and creating lots of travelly goodness for you. I am looking forward to sharing so many exciting things this year. My recent solo travel to Morocco and Italy as well as delving into what Australia has to offer. First up, I travelled to the outskirts of Melbourne and spent the afternoon photographing wildlife at Healesville Sanctuary, then a look into my new year visit to Far North Queensland and my stay at Niramaya Villa and Spa in Port Douglas. What a wonderful world xx
