Monetise your blog.
3 easy ways to connect your blog with brands and begin making money online.
So you've poured hours into designing your website and creating content to develop and capture an audience. What comes next? You've most likely reached a point where you're beginning to think about monetising your blog or showing off your writing abilities in exchange for some cash.
If you're anything like me, you've spent hours scouring the internet in search of paid blogging jobs or ways to connect your website with brands. Included in this article are methods I use and find helpful to bring in extra income.
Sponsored Posts and Link Building
Sponsored posts are undoubtedly one of the best ways a blogger can capitalise on their efforts, and there is a tonne of company's available out there if you know where to look. A google search is always a great place to start when researching for blogger outreach services. Some companies will supply you with completed articles for publishing then pay you for your time, and some companies require you write the articles yourself. If you would like to write the content yourself you can save some time researching by checking out the companies listed here:
Now is the perfect time to sign up for this platform. Get Blogged is a relatively new service connecting bloggers with brands and is fast growing. I have been a member of Get Blogged for several months and have witnessed the site grow tenfold within that time. From what once only included dating website promotion, opportunities now include jobs targeted at a range of blog topics, including tasks for fashion, wedding, home, lifestyle and beauty bloggers with great pay rates.
Get Blogged have two membership options. Normal (free) and VIP (£7.99 per month). You don't have to be a VIP member to apply for opportunities, however, if you do become a VIP member, you will be eligible for early bird access to all jobs listed, unlimited applications and you will also receive 10% higher payouts upon completion of tasks. If you are a Blogger sign up here, if you are a Brand sign up here.
Tribe is possibly the best influencer marketing smartphone application available for bloggers and content creators. Tribe allows you to directly link with brands and create content for their social media platforms, mainly Instagram. If you're a creative person that thrives on styling and photography, then Tribe is the application for you. Download Tribe here - iPhone - Android -
FreelancE Writing Opportunities
If you've ever tried out Freelancer.com, you will know that it is seemingly impossible to gain any work due to the sheer amount of people using the site. More than often you will find that within 2 minutes, newly listed jobs have already gained a substantial amount of bids that all severely undercut typical working pay rates. And unfortunately, if you're like me, you may have had encounters with several scammers.
Instead of wasting your time applying for jobs, getting scammed or never having a chance, try out the companies listed below:
PEOPLE PER HOUR
You will have to use the search element to specifically look for freelance writing or content creation jobs on People Per Hour, but out of the main players, I find this to be the best large freelancing site online. Post a job or apply for a job - Sign up to PPH here.

There are plenty of options aimed at different DA's available. Remember, effort brings results, and the more time you allocate, the more you will benefit.
