Singapore, the pearl of Southeast Asia.

The perfect location for my maiden visit to Singapore.
Quiet by day and energetic by night, historical Boat Quay is located by the city centre, alongside the Southbank of the Singapore River.
If you're a backpacker and looking for a party hostel in Singapore... locating yourself at a hostel positioned close to the Prince of Wales Backpacker Pub in either Boat Quay or Little India, in my opinion, is your best bet.
I've mentioned Singapore's Prince of Wales Backpacker Pub in several of my previous posts, so it seems only fair I allocate a post to the pub and provide a little bit of further information; especially if there any party hostel seeking backpackers travelling to Singapore City.
I had the entire cruise to myself for the 40-minute duration.
A look into Singapore River Cruises "the Tale of 2 Quays" river experience;
- Includes photos and tour information - There I am, walking through Singapore City, lost, at 7:00 AM, with bare feet and wearing last night's dress - I looked like the dirtiest of dirty stop-outs.
Sometimes, when overseas, I find myself in some random situations and starting this trip off in Singapore, proved no exception.
Stories in Part 1 and Part 2 centre around the great people I encountered at the Prince of Wales Backpacker Pub in Boat Quay, Singapore City, and the and misadventures that subsequently occurred after the bar closed each night at 1 AM. Once you go private cube, I don't think you can go back.
A review of my first experience in cube/ pod accommodation, plus information regarding the Port by Quarters hostel in Boat Quay and how to travel there via MRT from Changi Airport.
