If you're a backpacker and looking for a party hostel in Singapore... locating yourself at a hostel positioned close to the Prince of Wales Backpacker Pub in either Boat Quay or Little India, in my opinion, is your best bet.
I've mentioned Singapore's Prince of Wales Backpacker Pub in several of my previous posts, so it seems only fair I allocate a post to the pub and provide a little bit of further information; especially if there any party hostel seeking backpackers travelling to Singapore City.
Misadventure in Singapore City - Part 2: Expats, Ladyboys and Prostitutes, oh my! - The CrazyHorse at Orchard Tower

Sometimes, when overseas, I find myself in some random situations and starting this trip off in Singapore, proved no exception.
Stories in Part 1 and Part 2 centre around the great people I encountered at the Prince of Wales Backpacker Pub in Boat Quay, Singapore City, and the and misadventures that subsequently occurred after the bar closed each night at 1 AM.

Aaah, Berlin, the land where it makes no sense to enter a club until 1 AM, and where the nightlife is 'life'.
"Oans, zwoa, drei, g'suffa!"
Alternative Berlin's 666 Anti Pub Crawl is a great night out!
